As an airport hotel, we would like to introduce you to the topic of flying, airplanes and airports as leisure activities.
An airport offers more possibilities than just jumping from one aircraft to the next. Have you ever been at the helm of an aircraft yourself? Would you like to reach for the stars or look at Stuttgart from above? Here you will find the leisure activities where all this is possible.
At Stuttgart Airport, up to 400 take-offs and landings with approx. 55 different airlines to more than 100 destinations worldwide take place every day. But in addition to the 4 terminals, 70 gates and 106 check-in desks, the airport also offers over 6,000 m² of space for shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. The most important not only after the security check.
The visitor terrace
From here you have a unique view of direct flight operations. Watch the planes taking off and landing or how one of the huge jets is docked to a passenger boarding bridge. From the terrace you simply have the perfect view to see how each step interlocks - from cleaning, to refuelling and passenger boarding.
A special highlight is the mini airfield. Here, children can become pilots at a young age and park their aircraft in the right position.
You will find a terrace at Terminal 1 and one at Terminal 3.
